Nel dipinto sono proposti colori morandiani, con un’accensione cromatica maggiore all’interno della composizione floreale data dal bianco e dall’uso del verde e del marrone. Il vaso ha una zona di luce, ma al contempo va constatata la mancanza di ombra. Il soggetto diventa dunque una presenza corporea e incorporea, così come la pittura gioca in un contrasto di pennellate, ossia liquide con trementina, e altre, quelle dei fiori, più grasse e materiche.

Morandi colours are proposed in the painting, with a greater chromatic ignition within the floral composition given by white and the use of green and brown. The vase has an area of light, but at the same time the lack of shadow is noted. The subject thus becomes a corporeal and incorporeal presence, just as the painting plays in a contrast of brushstrokes, or liquid with turpentine, and others, those of the flowers, which are fatter and more material.
