L’opera è proposta in quattro versioni, in riferimento al colore dei ciclamini, ossia rosa, viola, marroni e notturni. I fiori sembrano in posa, come se fossero pronti per essere fotografati. Il taglio compositivo, ispirato a Georgia O'Keeffe, presenta i fiori inquadrati nella loro matericità, con pennellate vorticose, libere e pastose. Si nota un contrasto tra la parte floreale dipinta con pennellate grasse e lo sfondo più magro. Il gambo dei fiori è infine rappresentato esile e sottile, realizzato con il manico della spatola sulla pittura fresca.

The work comes in four versions, referring to the colour of the cyclamens, namely pink, purple, brown and nocturnal. The flowers appear to be posed, as if ready to be photographed. The compositional cut, inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe, presents the flowers framed in their materiality, with swirling, free and mellow brushstrokes. There is a contrast between the floral part painted with fat brushstrokes and the leaner background. Finally, the stem of the flowers is depicted slender and thin, made with the handle of the palette knife on fresh paint.
