Il dipinto rimanda alle nature morte fiamminghe, nello specifico ai vasi di fiori di Chardin, ma hanno una visione molto ravvicinata, come se i fiori rappresentati fossero in posa. La pittura è materica, ma tonale nella scelta dei contrasti cromatici. |
Text by Luca Deias (ENG) The work comes in three versions, referring to the colours of the vase and the background. The painting is reminiscent of Flemish still lifes, specifically Chardin's flower vases, but with a very close-up view, as if the flowers depicted were posed. The painting is textural, but tonal in its choice of colour contrasts. |
