L’opera presenta al centro una composizione che rimanda alle bottiglie rappresentate da Giorgio Morandi nelle sue nature morte, ma s’ispira anche a Willem de Kooning nella componente materica. Il vaso presenta una consistenza che gioca tra il corporeo, per i riflessi, e l’incorporeo, per l’assenza di ombra; l’eruzione floreale sembra invece una nube gassosa che sta uscendo dal suo contenitore. A livello cromatico, si può evincere il contrasto complementare tra rosso e verde.

The work presents a composition in the centre that recalls the bottles depicted by Giorgio Morandi in his still lifes, but is also inspired by Willem de Kooning in its material component. The vase presents a texture that plays between the corporeal, due to the reflections, and the incorporeal, due to the absence of shadow; the floral eruption instead looks like a gaseous cloud emerging from its container. In terms of colour, the complementary contrast between red and green can be seen.
