L’opera, che richiama gli iconici vasi di girasoli di Van Gogh, presenta pennellate circolari e vorticose. I colori e la caratterizzazione cromatica sono stati rappresentati da Prevosto in modo istintivo: il giallo di fondo è timbrico, l’azzurro è materico, le tonalità di verde sono innaturali, vicine allo smeraldo. La scelta di Prevosto non è casuale: un’ispirazione all’arte del pittore olandese – alla luce della sua vita tragica e vibrante - si inserisce armoniosamente nella serie delle "Cosmogonie".

The work, reminiscent of Van Gogh's iconic sunflower vases, features swirling, circular brushstrokes. The colours and chromatic characterisation were depicted by Prevosto in an instinctive manner: the background yellow is timbral, the blue is textural, the shades of green are unnatural, close to emerald. Prevosto's choice is not random: an inspiration to the Dutch painter's art - in the light of his tragic and vibrant life - fits harmoniously into the "Cosmogonies" series.
