Testo di Luca Deias (ITA) L’opera, ispirata alle nature morte fiamminghe del secolo d’oro, è proposta in quattro versioni (blu, rosso, giallo e bianco), perché l’artista ha voluto rappresentare gli stessi soggetti con colorazioni differenti, come se provenissero da universi paralleli. Nel dipinto, da cui è percepibile l’influsso artistico di Willem de Kooning, Prevosto gioca con le consistenze materiche tra spatola e pennello. |
Text by Luca Deias (ENG) The work, inspired by Flemish still lifes from the Golden Age, is presented in four versions (blue, red, yellow and white), because the artist wanted to represent the same subjects with different colours, as if they came from parallel universes. In the painting, from which the artistic influence of Willem de Kooning is perceptible, Prevosto plays with the material consistencies between spatula and brush. |
