Testo di Luca Deias (ITA) L’artista, avvalendosi dello specchio rappresentato nell’opera, sdoppia l’immagine del vaso: il riflesso, però, risulta diverso dal soggetto, non c’è un’adesione oggettiva, viene stravolto. Il vaso poggia sul basamento di un caminetto, ma viene appena accennato, mentre i fiori sono inventati e indefiniti, realizzati con pennellate gestuali e materiche. |
Text by Luca Deias (ENG) The artist, using the mirror represented in the work, doubles the image of the vase: the reflection, however, is different from the subject, there is no objective adhesion, it is distorted. The vase rests on the base of a fireplace, but is barely hinted at, while the flowers are invented and undefined, realised with gestural and material brushstrokes. |
