L’opera vede come soggetto un vaso di fiori proiettato in un paesaggio immaginifico e avvolto da un’abbagliante luce azzurra e bianca. Come si evince dal titolo, i colori scelti da Prevosto sono quelli riconducibile a una nana bianca, mentre le pennellate dei fiori – mossi e indistinguibili - sono vorticose. L’angolo del muro rende infine il dipinto geometrico, fornendo allo stesso tempo allo spettatore un’ambientazione che rimanda ai quadri del ‘700.

The subject of the work is a vase of flowers projected into an imaginative landscape and enveloped in a dazzling blue and white light. As the title suggests, the colours chosen by Prevosto are those of a white dwarf star, while the brushstrokes of the flowers - wavy and indistinguishable - are swirling. Finally, the angle of the wall makes the painting geometric, while providing the viewer with a setting reminiscent of 18th century paintings.
