Prevosto, partendo da una composizione da lui stesso allestita, propone una sorta di suo modello e sguardo fotografico e presenta, come in altri suoi dipinti, l’alzatina tagliata. Gli elementi rappresentati (le conchiglie) e soprattutto i colori evocano nello spettatore il tema del mare: l’artista propone un allegorico viaggio nel mondo marino mediante pennellate vigorose, ombre gialle che non portano oscurità ma luce, e variazioni di colori primari. L’artista riprende lo stile di Soutine, con una deformazione più tenue, e, sul piano compositivo, di Morandi. Continua inoltre la ricerca e la riflessione artistico-creativa di Prevosto, a partire dagli accordi cromatici, sul senso della morte e del suo indivisibile e ineluttabile legame con la vita.

Prevosto, starting from a composition he himself set up, proposes a kind of his own model and photographic view and presents, as in other of his paintings, the cut-out elevation. The elements represented (the shells) and above all the colours evoke the theme of the sea in the viewer: the artist proposes an allegorical journey into the marine world through vigorous brushstrokes, yellow shadows that do not bring darkness but light, and variations of primary colours. The artist takes up the style of Soutine, with a softer deformation, and, on a compositional level, of Morandi. Prevosto's research and artistic-creative reflection also continues, starting with the chromatic chords, on the meaning of death and its indivisible and ineluctable link with life.
