Si ripresenta, come in altri dipinti della serie, una marcata distorsione dei soggetti, che colpisce tanto il tavolo quanto il vaso trasparente. Risulta evidente la ricerca della drammaticità da parte dell’artista, in un nuovo richiamo a Chaïm Soutine e a Willem de Kooning. Dal punto di vista cromatico, i fiori sono in risalto: i colori caldi dei petali prendono il sopravvento sullo sfondo bianco e grigio.

As in other paintings in the series, there is a marked distortion of the subjects, affecting both the table and the transparent vase. The artist's quest for drama is evident, in a new reference to Chaïm Soutine and Willem de Kooning. From a chromatic point of view, the flowers stand out: the warm colours of the petals dominate the white and grey background.
