Testo di Luca Deias (ITA) Nell’opera il registro cromatico presenta similitudini con le nature morte impolverate morandiane, mentre nei fiori rappresentati la pennellata è libera e fluente. Volgendo lo sguardo all’angolo, è possibile constatare la prospettiva distorta del dipinto: l’impressione è che questa natura morta obbedisca a leggi della fisica proprie, con una tridimensionalità suggerita ma poi abolita, data la mancanza di ombra nello spazio. |
Text by Luca Deias (ENG) In the work, the colour register shows similarities to Morandi's dusty still lifes, while in the flowers depicted, the brushstrokes are free and flowing. Looking at the corner, one can see the painting's distorted perspective: the impression is that this still life obeys its own laws of physics, with a three-dimensionality suggested but then abolished, given the lack of shadow in the space. |
