Testo di Luca Deias (ITA) Continua il binario parallelo Prevosto-Monet. Il contesto, questa volta, è un immaginifico pianeta sottoposto alla luce accecante di una nana bianca. L’artista ha rappresentato alcune ninfee azzurre adagiate in un lago, che ospita la vita nonostante le condizione avverse dell’ignota ubicazione. Le pennellate, vermiformi e liquide, danno forma alle foglie delle ninfee. Particolarità stilistica è il colore dello sfondo: trattasi della tela nuda, senza alcuna aggiunta o colore. |
Text by Luca Deias (ENG) The Prevosto-Monet parallel continues. This time, the setting is an imaginary planet subjected to the blinding light of a white dwarf. The artist has depicted blue water lilies floating on a lake, which is home to life despite the adverse conditions of its unknown location. The worm-like, liquid brushstrokes give shape to the leaves of the water lilies. A stylistic peculiarity is the colour of the background: it is bare canvas, without any additions or colour. |
