Nel dipinto “Nudo sdraiato” Prevosto inaugura una nuova serie dedicata al corpo e all'erotismo, prendendo ispirazione dall'estetica delle fotografie di Playboy scattate e pubblicate a cavallo tra gli anni Sessanta e Novanta. L'artista non si limita tuttavia a rievocare quell'immaginario: la figura si rivela il punto di partenza per una riflessione sul tempo e sulla fragilità della bellezza. Le modelle fissate nelle fotografie appaiono eternamente giovani, ma quell'immagine non è che l'istantanea di un passato ormai trascorso; la loro avvenenza, come ogni elemento, è destinata a essere attraversata dalla vita e dal tempo. La consueta distorsione di Prevosto investe il corpo nella sua interezza - volto, busto, arti e postura - trasformando il nudo in un organismo fluido, lontano da qualsiasi ideale accademico di perfezione. L'atmosfera rimane però sorprendentemente pacata: l'incarnato dai toni rosati, il fondo giallo e le lenzuola candide costruiscono una tavolozza delicata che attenua la componente erotica, privilegiando un senso di quiete e vulnerabilità. Il dipinto si mostra come un'immagine sospesa tra desiderio e malinconia, nella quale il corpo diventa testimonianza della bellezza effimera e del continuo scorrere del tempo.

In the painting "Reclining Nude", Prevosto launches a new series dedicated to the body and eroticism, drawing inspiration from the aesthetic of *Playboy* photographs taken and published between the 1960s and 1990s. The artist does not, however, merely evoke that imagery: the figure proves to be the starting point for a reflection on time and the fragility of beauty. The models captured in the photographs appear eternally young, but that image is nothing more than a snapshot of a past that has now passed; their beauty, like every other element, is destined to be shaped by life and time. Prevosto’s characteristic distortion encompasses the body in its entirety – face, torso, limbs and posture – transforming the nude into a fluid organism, far removed from any academic ideal of perfection. The atmosphere, however, remains surprisingly serene: the rosy-toned complexion, the yellow background and the snow-white sheets create a delicate palette that softens the erotic element, emphasising a sense of tranquillity and vulnerability. The painting presents itself as an image suspended between desire and melancholy, in which the body bears witness to ephemeral beauty and the continuous passage of time.
