L’opera fa parte di un trittico che s’ispira alle composizioni morandiane e presenta pennellate mosse, vibranti e materiche; si distingue inoltre per le distorsioni tipiche di Soutine, discostandosi però dai due artisti in questione sul piano cromatico. Il vetro dei vasi è trasparente, il tavolo è storto, proposto con una linea sinusoidale. È un piano di appoggio che non copre la sua funzione primaria: la serie di oggetti disposti sopra esso paiono in condizione di equilibrio precario. È infine evidente, in questo senso, l’impronta e la ricerca artistica di Prevosto sulle sue distorsioni.

The work is part of a triptych inspired by Morandi's compositions and features lively, vibrant and textured brushstrokes. It also stands out for its Soutine-like distortions, although it differs from the two artists in question in terms of colour. The glass of the vases is transparent, the table is crooked, presented with a sinusoidal line. It is a support surface that does not fulfil its primary function: the series of objects arranged on it appear to be in a precarious state of equilibrium. Finally, Prevosto's artistic imprint and research on his distortions is evident in this sense.
