In quest'opera Prevosto affronta il tema del conflitto israelo-palestinese avvalendosi della natura morta.
Un vaso metalicco, la cui forma ricorda quella di un missile, è al centro della composizione. L'isolamento, il raccoglimento di questo e il tavolo trattato con penellate monocrome, rimandano alle composizioni di Giorgio Morandi.

Il vaso si apre e nella narrazione immaginifica di quest'opera, come per il celebre vaso di Pandora, da esso sgorga il caos. Pennellate materiche e vorticose, colore sciabolato con vigorosi colpi di spatola, rievocano la distruzione e il teatro del dramma che si vive a Gaza ogni giorno, dove la popolazione, stremata dai bombardamenti, è qui incarnata dai fiori carbonizzati che escono dal recipiente. L'ombra del vaso sembra richiamare i palazzi sventrati della città palestinese.
Anche la pittura di questo quadro è in conflitto, è una battaglia, una lotta senza mezze misure contro sè stessa.

In this work, Prevosto addresses the theme of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict using still life.
A metal vase, whose shape resembles that of a missile, is at the centre of the composition. The isolation, the recollection of this and the table treated with monochrome pen strokes, recall the compositions of Giorgio Morandi.

The vase opens, and in the imaginative narrative of this work, as with the famous Pandora's box, chaos flows from it. Textural and swirling brushstrokes, colour sabre-rattled with vigorous strokes of the spatula, evoke the destruction and drama experienced in Gaza every day, where the population, exhausted by bombardments, is here embodied by the charred flowers emerging from the vase. The shadow of the vase seems to recall the gutted buildings of the Palestinian city.
The painting in this painting is also in conflict, it is a battle, a struggle without half-measures against itself.
